Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2 Update ‘Liquid Smooth’ Thanks To Custom ROM

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 felt as though the update to Jelly Bean 4.1 was taking forever to come their way. However the update is now here but it is no longer the latest. The focus is now on the next update, which comes in the form of Android 4.2.

It will be quite a while before the 4.2 update reaches handsets in the US, however there are customised ROMs which owners may use until then.
One of the custom ROMs comes courtesy of LiquidSmooth. The ROM is based on Jelly Bean 4.2 and it brings to the Samsung Galaxy S3 all its features and much more. Enhancements include speed boosts, lock screen sliders, buttons, hardware and software keys, all of which can be customised. It also brings a navbar ring, notification power widget, navigation bar widgets, transparent navbar and status bar. The notification bar and battery light are both customisable.
There is another feature that is interesting in the form of the Chrounsu clock widget and panel for the settings that is customisable. The downside is that the Samsung Galaxy S3 LiquidSmooth Android 4.2 ROM works only with the Cricket version of the device for now.
